Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD+)

NAD+ is an important coenzyme for redox reactions in your cells and defends against oxidative stress. It is a cofactor for several enzymes involved in energy metabolism and protein synthesis (glycolysis, glutaminolysis, fatty acid oxidation). As of now, we know of at least 300 different enzymes that require NAD+ to function properly. In short, your body can’t make energy without NAD+

How does NAD+ work?

Your body isn’t as efficient in recycling NAD+, so NAD+ levels decrease as you age. Low NAD+ levels during aging have been linked to the development and progression of aging-related diseases, including atherosclerosis, arthritis, hypertension, and cognitive decline.
Increased NAD+ levels help slow the advances of aging. NAD+ also helps with neurons and memory. NAD+ also helps decrease levels of inflammation.

Will NAD+ therapy work for me?

If you are aging, have arthritis, brain fog or decreased energy, NAD+ may help give you a boost.

What is the process involved with NAD+ treatment?

We offer both Push Patches and Injectable NAD+. The NAD+ Push Patch comes as a powder. It is mixed with a small amount of saline, applied to an ion-specific patch with an electrode, and applied to the skin. Over 12 hours, NAD+ is absorbed into your system. We recommend 1 patch a day for 3 days and then 1 patch per week. The injectable form can be given as an intramuscular injection 2 times per week or intravenous infusion.
