Ketamine Infusions

What is Ketamine?

Ketamine is a medication approved by the FDA for use in sedating patients for surgeries and procedures.

How Does Ketamine Work?

We are just beginning to unravel all the ways that ketamine helps patients feel better. It blocks some of the stress neurotransmitters in the brain and at the same time stimulates protein synthesis in neurons to help them function properly. Sometimes it is described as a “reset” of your neurons.

Will Ketamine work for me?

Ketamine is used for multiple conditions. Treatment Resistant Depression (TRD) has the most evidence showing benefits. It is also useful for anxiety, some eating disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), fibromyalgia, migraines, alcohol and other addictions and some chronic pain disorders.

What is the process involved with Ketamine treatment?

ReGen Advanced Infuses administers ketamine through an IV over about 45 minutes per session. Depending on your condition, the dose and frequency of the infusions are different.

What is KAP?

Ketamine assisted therapy is an evolving field which involves trained therapists assisting patients while they are undergoing ketamine infusions. Ketamine infusions can place patients in unique positions to help them overcome nagging issues and barriers which keep them from enjoying life.

How does KAP work?

Ketamine itself has helped many people with depression and other mental health conditions. KAP gives an additional boost to these patients. The therapists we work with have special training and experience in providing patients with intentional sessions and then assist in integrating insights gained during the ketamine infusion.

Will KAP work for me?

If you suffer from Treatment Resistant Depression (TRD), Anxiety or Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), KAP may help you make strides towards improved mental health.

What is the process involved with KAP treatment?

KAP involves starting an IV and administering a customized dose of ketamine over the course of 45 minutes. The KAP therapist stays with you during the infusion and helps you work through tough issues and then continues integrating your experiences. The total process takes about 2 hours.
